1. Project Background & Challenge
Kolavit is a wellness beverage brand offering an orange-flavored collagen powder drink (Minuman Serbuk Rasa Jeruk Dengan Kolagen). Combining fish-derived collagen with vitamin-rich citrus flavors, the product targets health-conscious consumers looking for daily skincare and wellness benefits in a convenient drink.
The main design challenge was to clearly communicate both core elements—marine collagen (fish source) and zesty citrus flavor—without overwhelming the consumer. The goal was to build an approachable, clean, and vibrant packaging system that feels both health-focused and deliciously refreshing.
2. Design Strategy & Visual Identity
We developed a clean, modern aesthetic with playful vector illustrations and warm organic shapes to give the box an inviting, high-energy presence on retail shelves and e-commerce displays.
Color Palette
- Citrus Orange: Bright Orange (
#E88229) — represents the zesty orange flavor and energetic vitality. - Deep Marine: Navy Blue Accent (
#1D3573) — highlights the fish collagen iconography, adding a touch of clinical trust. - Pure Canvas: Soft Off-White (
#FAF9F5) — keeps the box clean, modern, and easily readable. - Warm Sand: Soft Peach/Beige Accent (

Packaging & Visual Elements
The packaging layout was meticulously designed for clarity and aesthetic appeal:
- Custom Iconography & Mascot: Created a distinctive glass-and-fish graphic mark combining a drink tumbler, splashing orange droplet, and marine fish silhouette to immediately signal “fish collagen drink.”
- Typography & Hierarchy: Selected an elegant, friendly serif typography for the main Kolavit logotype, paired with a clean sans-serif secondary font for the product descriptor (Minuman Serbuk Rasa Jeruk Dengan Kolagen).
- Layered Graphics & Imagery: Incorporated soft organic background curves, subtle sunburst grid patterns, and realistic citrus fruit visuals to enhance appetizing appeal.
- Structural Box Dieline: Engineered print-ready mechanical dielines for a compact sachet display box, optimized for CMYK color precision and high-contrast shelf visibility.
